But it takes two to tango. People were living beyond their means. Problem is we have too many "experts" dispensing advice on just about anything. Even Garth Turner comes across as an expert and is hoping to make money from his book sales. I think I will save the twenty dollars by not buying one of his books. Don't get me wrong there is lots of good advice that he gives but its all common sense. It doesn't cost you anything to use your own. You can blame the moneylenders and real estate experts all you want. But it takes two to tango. People were living beyond their means.
